Youth Development League

Details: This is a player development league to help girls that want to learn the fundamentals of basketball and compete. There will be 20-25 minutes of drills that will focus on agility, dribbling, shooting, passing and defense. After the drills, the players will be equally divided in teams and will play games. Games will be officiated by the coaches/instructors with an emphasis on instruction during the game.

What to Expect:

  • 7, 8, 9, 10 (no experience) year olds will play on 8ft goals.
  • 10 (some experience), 11, 12, 13 year olds will play on 10ft goals.
  • Patosha Jeffery and staff will be supervising drills, coaching and referreeing the games.
  • There will be an emphasis placed on learning not competition. This will be occurring during the game and in the drills.
  • Participants will receive a league T-Shirt on the first day of the league.
  • It will be fun!

What to bring: - Water Bottle - Great Attitude to learn! - Appropriate shorts and shoes (Jersey will be provided)

League Policy: I assert that I am the responsible party for the named minor. I understand that in case of medical emergency, every effort will be made to contact parents or guardians. I hereby give permission to the staff to secure medical treatment for my child. I release Patosha Jeffery and her staff from any and all liability and specifically agree not to make any claim against them. I further understand Patosha Jeffery retains the right to use for publicity, advertising and future product purposes any training photographs and video. I understand my daughter will not be compensated nor will I, if video or photography is used as footage in a future product.
